I found some of my old portfolio pieces and decided they might be worth a post. A lot of this stuff is old but still interesting and helpful in terms of showing progress. It also allows me to upload more physical stuff, as I'm often too lazy to go do scans/get pics of everything.
Now the scratchboard below is probably the one I'm most proud of in the bunch...it's my second pass at scratchboarding and my first at crosshatching on a major project. The damn thing took forever, but I had a lot of fun and a good playlist lined up to listen to so it was all worthwhile.
Reason I point out the scratchboard is that I'm doing another one now, hopefully to be finished before I head off to college. It'll be my first done without reference, so it should be interesting.
